Sophie Wist obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland Valais-Wallis in 2014. She then spent two years working mainly in outpatient and hospital settings. She subsequently pursued a Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Zurich University of Applied Sciences’ Department of Health Sciences. During this degree, she specialised in paediatric physiotherapy, working as a paediatric physiotherapist. She continues to practise as a paediatric physiotherapist.
Since 2024, she has been working as a scientific collaborator at the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland Valais-Wallis in Leukerbad. In August 2025, she began a PhD programme focused on the SHADE project.
